Talon began his own boat service business in the summer of 2004. With only a truck and a handful of tools, Talon started as a mobile marine repair service, fixing boats at various locations including storage lots, businesses, and customer’s houses.
Talon’s exceptional customer service and boat repair skills allowed him to capture the majority of boat repair business in his local area.
Faced with a rapidly growing customer base, Talon established his first repair shop in his own backyard. With a central boat repair location, Talon began hiring several employees along with offering boat pick-up, delivery, and storage services. His first location offered many benefits, but with a growing customer base, Talon would soon move into a 1,500 square foot warehouse facility. This location would give his business the ability to offer additional repair services, provide and inventory of parts and accessories, and establish a sales department featuring SeaArk boats along with Yamaha and Suzuki outboards. This location offered the greatest amount of growth for Talon Marine Services, but it still wasn’t big enough for Talon to offer everything he wanted to his customers.
After a few short years of renting at this location, Talon finally purchased his first commercial business property in downtown Oviedo. This new 3,000 square foot facility is the result of many years of hard work and dedication serving hundreds of boaters in the Orlando area.
