Suzuki Executives Visit Talon Marine Services

Talon Marine Services in Oviedo Florida was the focus of attention for Suzuki Marine Vice President George “Gus” Blakely and Factory Coordinator/Market Research Manager, Atsushi “Michael” Sugimura. Quite possibly the biggest names in the Suzuki family, Gus and Michael wanted to personally visit Talon's boat shop. Their arrival prompted many smiles and congratulatory hand shakes for Talon's recent award. Talon Marine Services won Suzuki's Cutting Edge Award, which is awarded to only one of the Top Super Service Dealers in each service district.

Talon was honored and excited for the visit from Suzuki.  “It means a great deal to me to have the Vice President of Suzuki at my door step,” says Talon.  Sharing past stories and future goals was a big part of our conversation.  Talon was able to gain some inside knowledge and present his dealership and sales insight with Gus. Suzuki motor repower and installation is a large part of Talon's business and Gus was excited to hear his input.

 

Overall, it was an exciting opportunity that many dealers and boat shop owners don't the chance to experience. After a few laughs and a tour of the shop Gus and Michael had to be on their way. The entire staff at Talon Marine's Sales and Service department strives for excellence and looks for ways to exceed the customers experience each and every day. Talon looks forward to many more visits as he continues to be a successful force in the boating industry.

 

Once again Suzuki’s reps visit talon marine services! This time the visitors were worldwide president of Suzuki max Yamamoto, executive vice president of service operations takao kudo, national marine field service manager Michael balestracci and district technical service manager Kevin Rothrock. A few key points of this times visit were new motors, current motor advancements,  and also talon’s feedback how to continue to make Suzuki the best choice for boaters. “ I’ve had a love for boats since I was 10 years old it’s always exciting to have a jump on what’s new and the direction suzuki is going,” says Talon. President max yamamoto was impressed with the large volume of service work and repowers while maintaining the highest level of customer service rating with Suzuki. At the end of the visit they mentioned another visit in summer 2020
